Patagonian 1 is a Windows-based educational simulator for drilling and well control, delivering an immersive experience with multi-screen support, custom joysticks for Top Drive and Choke console, and well control techniques like ‘Wait and Weight’ and the ‘Driller’s Method.






Six simulation stations are currently equipped with this app:
- Three at Well Control, Neuquén, Argentina.

Immersive VR Simulator for FAL and Glock Firearms Training
CABA, Argentina
This MVP is a VR simulator for firearms training, focusing on the FAL rifle, Glock pistol, and M4A1 carbine. It implements exercises from the MOTE (Optimized Military Training Doctrine), used by the Argentine Army for precision shooting.
Preparation and Equipment:
Protective gear equipping (goggles, ear muffs).
Selection of FAL rifle, Glock pistol, or M4A1 carbine with weapon loading.
Two-handed rifle grip with hand-switching capability.
Loading bullets into magazines (standard and tracer options).
Magazines with internal bullets or infinite magazine mode.
Weapon Handling and Mechanics:
Weapon safety with semi-automatic and automatic mode switching.
Adjustment of FAL’s rear and front sights for precision.
Grenade-throwing mechanics.
Training Environment:
Shooting ranges at 5, 10, 25, and 150 meters.
Position detection (standing, kneeling, prone) with responsive targets.
Day/night toggle with adjustable sun position and orientation.
Wind intensity and direction adjustments impacting ballistics.
Variable visibility conditions (cloudiness, rain) and night vision mode.
Tools and Situational Awareness:
Long-range telescope for distant target observation.
Compass and anemometer for wind direction and intensity measurement.
Telekinesis for remote object interaction.
Performance and Feedback:
Real-time impact visualization and accuracy graphing via triangular analysis.
Dynamic shooting house with targets, hostages, and performance statistics.
Additional Features:
Drone-shooting minigame for enhanced engagement.
Bilingual support (English and Spanish).
Notably, CySSA partners with the Argentine Army on this application. During an exhibition, Argentina’s Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, conducted a brief test of the VR simulator.
