A website and YouTube channel with technical information about programming, 3D modeling with Blender and application development with the Unity engine. They currently have more than 2 million visits, 1.25 million in the last 365 days.

Patagonian 1 - Drilling & Well Control Simulator

Application made in Unity for the company Well Control Consulting & Services, created according to IADC standards. 
Patagonian 1 is a drilling and well control exercise simulator.
It is in production and in development of new features.
This application allows to configure the dimensions of the well, the drilling tools from the topdrive to the drillpipe sections.

Mitsubishi RV-2SDB robotic arm trajectory generation in Unity

Bastidas Daniela - Mechatronics Engineer

Title of the thesis

Design and implementation of an off-line operation system of the Mitsubishi RV-2SDB robotic arm through non-immersive virtual reality to contribute to the learning process of industrial robotics in the Mechatronics laboratory of the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE, Latacunga, Ecuador.

Tasks
  • Adaptation of the robotic arm control algorithm by direct kinematics and inverse kinematics made in MATLAB to Unity in C# language.
  • Positioning and orientation control gizmos for each degree of freedom. 
  • Adaptation of the Wii console controller as an alternative for positioning the arm.
  • Mathematical models for trajectory tracing. 
  • Generation and export of trajectory code for import into the control software of the Mitsubishi RV-2SDB arm.

Three-degree-of-freedom control system for a satellite

Tareas
  • Development of the 3D environment.
  • Implementation of the control model.
  • Adaptation of the control algorithm made in MATLAB for the orientation of the satellite solar panels to C# language in Unity.

Cake on the run

3D game made in Unity with Low Poly graphics in which you control a person carrying on his back a cake he bought to celebrate his pet’s birthday. This game was developed in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 49 Game Jam, theme: “unstable”.

Hard Time in Cretaceous

3D game made in Unity in which you control a dinosaur that has to protect its egg from the attack of ferocious carnivores. The prototype of this game was developed in 48 hours for the “Patagonia Game Jam” and then polished in the following 5 days.

Go to Hell!!!

The game “Go to Hell!!!” is a first person game made in Unity and consists of descending down a well until reaching the bottom, if the fall is too high the character dies. This game was developed in 72 hours for the Game Jam Ludum Dare 48, theme: “deeper and deeper”.

Circled

The Circled game is a mini-game made in Unity that consists of a character floating in the cosmos attached to a heart and trapped in an infinite loop of rings that close on him. The rings have one or two exit ends and the player has to click on the screen to make the character escape. This game was developed in 72 hours for the Game Jam Ludum Dare 47, theme: “Stuck in a loop”.

Escape from the Maze

The game Escape from the Maze is a first person game made in Unity and consists of finding a series of objects before time runs out.

Space Visitors

The Space Visitors game is a shoot ’em up game with the same mechanics as the mythical game “Space Invaders”, this prototype is developed in Unity.

Moon Orbit Simulator

This application allows to visualize the orbit of the moon around the earth considering different initial velocities. This simulation is based on the law of universal gravitation and Newton’s laws.
The time scale and other interface parameters can be modified.
